Thank you for playing Word-Up!, a mobile party game developed by Jamiu Okanlawon. This policy explains how the Word-Up! application handles information.
SUMMARY
Word-Up! is a pass-and-play party game. We do not require an account, we do not ask for your name or any personal details, and we do not sell or share your data. We show non-personalized ads and collect anonymous usage and crash information to keep the app running and free. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Team names you type are stored only on your device, used only to show scores during that game, and are never transmitted off your device.
To keep the app free and working well, we use Google services to collect anonymous data that is not linked to your identity:
Advertising (Google AdMob): the app displays ads at the end of a game. These are non-personalized ads — they are not based on tracking you across other apps, and we do not use an advertising identifier to build a profile of you. AdMob may process your device's IP address and general device information to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Ads are limited to general-audience (G-rated) content.
Usage data (Firebase Analytics): anonymous, aggregated events such as a game starting, a round finishing, or a genre being selected — counts and settings only. We never send the team names you type.
Crash and diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics): if the app crashes, we receive a crash report with technical details such as your device model, operating-system version, and app version, so we can fix the problem.
Approximate location: our providers derive a coarse, region-level location from your IP address (standard for internet services). We do not collect precise or GPS location.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION
Anonymous usage and crash data is used solely to understand how the game is played in aggregate and to diagnose and fix problems. Advertising data is used solely to display and measure non-personalized ads. None of it is used to identify you, and none of it is sold.
YOUR CHOICES
Depending on your region (for example, the European Economic Area and the UK), you may be asked to provide or withhold consent for how data is used for ads when you first open the app. You can also reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings at any time.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Word-Up! does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page; please review it periodically.
